voglio ricordarla per sempre
hanno detto che non sono più giovane
ma questa notte mi sento come se fossi ancora un ragazzo
e sento nei muscoli
tutte le parole che ho ascoltato
ho visto che c'è ancora un po' di orgoglio umano
e ho viaggiato in tutto il mondo senza muovermi
nelle mie orecchie posso ascoltare un grande grazie
alle ragazze e ai ragazzi che ancora possono credere
che la giovinezza non è una verità ma uno stato della mente
sarai per sempre giovane se vuoi esserlo
qualcuno andrà in Cina
qualcun'altro nella profonda Africa
e qualcun'altro starà a casa
cercando di imparare come costruire un nuovo mondo
per quanto riguarda me, mi hanno chiesto
io non ho ancora progetti
ma sono sicuro che da oggi
la mia mente sia meglio di quella che è stata ieri
