Samhain novilunio

Stelle disperate 

abbandonate dalla luna 

riflesse senza metrica 

su pietre ancestrali 

attraverso l'abbaino 

sul tetto a nord ovest 

Samhain non insegue 

gli stanchi sogni 

 

del mio corpo devastato 

racconta la connessione 

ragnatela cosmica 

tra la terra madre profonda e

il cielo immenso 

al novilunio.

It’s almost Samhain 

a word that makes me see 

a bit better every year 

‘cause there’s an end and a begin 

 

It’s almost Samhain 

water is drenching everything 

the streams are flowing 

and fog is covering the hills 

 

I know Samhain may be only 

a point into the time 

but it’s something that gives always 

to my old soul some pride 

 

‘cause I belong to an old sacred tradition 

‘cause I am the heir of my ancestor’s wisdom 

not all is lost into the time 

 

No matter if I celebrate 

this year it would be fair 

the long nights that we have here 

are the prayers that we need 

 

I know Samhain may be only

and it is so dark that I can’t see 

and into the fog there are spirits 

but I am not frightened 

 because this is their season 

Samhain is not far 

and I can’t believe that I’m apart 

from all the people I’ve around 

into my own life 

I’ve got their steps behind 

A lot of water a lot of rain 

it seems the sky has opened its veins 

and everything just flows away 

to create a lot of new space 

Is this the sense of the life 

that Samhain teaches? But we are blind 

Samhain is not far 

the end of October is near 

I need once again the right prayer 

to say thank you God 

let me stand up alone 

Samhain is not far 

and I’ve got a lot of things to do 

it seems always the end of the world 

but it is once again 

only the old circle end

If you ask me what is London 

after all these years I was far 

I can answer with only a word 

London is a miracle 

 

In the morning there's some mist 

after that the sun is shining 

over gardens and the houses 

where the life is going on 

 

In the evening drinking something 

on the water of the river Thames 

and from Hammersmith to Greenwich 

people feel the same old love 

 

From the first stone it was founded 

to the last skyscraper so tall 

there's here some special power 

that is unique in the whole world 

 

These green parks can remember us that we can live feeling the Nature as friend and we can walk over the earth without feeling enemies 

It’s England that has learned from its mistakes and here autumn seems springtimes in the land and I can walk over the earth without feeling an enemy
