Amàl
Al di là del nulla
scorgo il profilo
del mio viso inerme
invecchiato e caduco
come l’autunno

My bread
I can sit
Here on the water
Like the sun
Before going
Then come back
As a father
To create
A new tomorrow
And no matter if I have used
Myself to arrive this point
So I will throw away my bread
On the surface of the waters
Knowing that first or then
It will be back *
I don’t know what I deserve
Or what it is right to lose
Everything that I’ll accept
Can become gold
I can teach
Here by the seaside
A new beat
To my mind
It’s the real
Sacred rhythm
Of something
Not yet learned
We can wait for the mermaids
Starting to cry by midnight
So I will throw away my bread
On the surface of the waters
Knowing that first or then
It will be back *
I don’t know what I deserve
Or what it is right to lose
Everything that I’ll accept
Can become gold

Tzomèah *
Dire nel cuore
parole di sangue:
la notte medita
fra i sussurri santi
del bosco insonne
Dio si nasconde
nel labirinto
grondante d’anima
delle nostre voci:
musica acerba
L’oscurità di questo cerchio
è fertile madre feconda:
nel suo grembo germogliano
le paure e le promesse
(avanzo di luce nel buio).
Beltaine 2011

New nest
It seems autumn because of the seeds
That are falling from the highest trees
What I can see here in front of me
It’s the new nest I will have for me
Entering through this door today
I am becoming a new man
What is going to happen now?
I do have nothing to pretend
It was winter just becoming spring
The first time when I have seen it
Now I’m doubtful almost of everything
And I’m asking if right really is
Having in my hands these keys
I have inside a different beat
Is this really the new thing
That makes a boy a man to be?
And you said
That everything will change
Nothing will be the same
And now I know
What you said
Beside the roses mazes
Along that summer crazy
Now it is real .. is real
It seems looking directly to me
That black horse on the façade here
And the colors the yellow and the red
Fill the hollow among the green trees
May be mine’s a reckless choice
While my youth is a far noise
But sometimes life is a toy
And so I’m playing acting joy
And you said
That everything will change
Nothing will be the same
And now I know
What you said
Beside the roses mazes
Along that summer crazy
Now it is real … is real
