On this Christmas I’m a slave
Of the future and of the past
Both are prisons for a man
Don’t know why but I came
Among knives and among flames
I am injured and I am burned
By the hands and by the words
And I am not drunken and nor sober
Into this Christmas not cold
I’m a refugee even if I hope
To find after or before
A new snug place and myself among
People that make me feel… at home
Land is sleeping on these days
While we’re hurrying without rest
Trying to catch what we don’t know
Like we forgot all the gods
Sun is looming among fog
Night is the undisputed god
And as always we’ve to find
Into ourselves the light

Il dio incontrastato
Non ho niente da dire
In questo natale sono uno schiavo
Del futuro e del passato
Entrambi sono prigioni per un uomo
Non so perché ma sono giunto
Tra i coltelli e tra le fiamme
Sono ferito e sono ustionato
Dalle mani e dalle parole
E non sono ubriaco e nemmeno sobrio
In questo natale non freddo
Sono un rifugiato anche se spero
Di trovare dopo o prima
Un nuovo luogo accogliente e trovarmi
Tra persone che mi facciano sentire…a casa
La terra sta dormendo in questi giorni
Mentre noi corriamo senza sosta
Cercando di raccogliere ciò che non sappiamo
Come avessimo scordato tutti gli dei
Il sole appare lontano tra la nebbia
La notte è il dio incontrastato
E come sempre dobbiamo trovare
In noi stessi la luce
