There’s no noise in the abbey *
With these dead leaves on the paths
And this warm wind caressing
Yes we know it’s a deep blessing
I hear a prayer in the air
Can’t understand where it came
I ask the yews to tell me
About life here in past eves
So many words and myths I’ve heard
Not possible to me to ignore
And near the kitchens I
See stuffs of other times
A woman in long robe so white
And a pale face so sad and fine
A challenge I can face
Only with the full Faith
In a corner of the garden
The hawthorn ** it is flowered
There’s always the truth in legends
Through it knocking down sadness
So many words and myths I’ve heard
Not possible to me to ignore
And near the kitchens I
See stuffs of other times
A woman in long robe so white
And a pale face so sad and fine
A challenge I can face
Only with the full Faith
