Bucce di mele

Dopo la festa ogni dio tace
e il mondo sembra una foto
in sfumature grigie e rosse.

Sui visi amari delle persone
i segni di chi non è più qui:
solchi scavati dalle assenze.

E i ricordi sono una strada
asfalto di zucchero sulla lingua.

Le parole solo bucce di mele
suicide sul pavimento freddo.

Hidden in the snow there is a gift

Fire burns deep in the night
Of being alone I am surprised

Cause it is Christmas night
And nobody arrives
In the house

I search the Moon there in the sky
But I see clouds just crying snow

And even if the flames
Are now warming my face
I feel cold

Yes the time of Christmas is not brilliant as it seems
But it is magician in my dreams
I am an explorer lost inside a wood not green
Hidden in the snow there is a gift

Is there something that cannot be changed by the belief?
The powerful skill of human beings
Thinking of my strength a mountain now oh I can shift
So why I can’t be able to live?

Table is covered by light
Do you know what’s symbolize?

We forget from where we arrive
In these long long nights
We need a light

Yes the time of Christmas is not brilliant as it seems
But it is magician in my dreams
I am an explorer lost inside a wood not green
Hidden in the snow there is a gift

Is there something that cannot be changed by the belief?
The powerful skill of human beings
Thinking of my strength a mountain now oh I can shift
So why I can’t be able to live?

Does the winter come to love us?

Welcome new winter
Red wax on the white one
Welcome new winter
In this warm house the last one

And I think to all the candles
Burnt on this windowsill
To celebrate the new light
Year after the year

Celebrating the miracle
That through the darkness makes light
So that the darkest point
Is also the spark of the light

I remember all the songs
Written here on this desk
In front of the cold fields
Under this sky of tears

Does the winter come to love us
With its brilliant silver nights
Or it will bring iced water
On our instinct to survive?

And my hope it is for tonight
To touch the upcoming light
To discover if I’m enough
To start alone this new life

Welcome new winter
With my blood I bless my new house
‘cause this is the season
Birds used to build the new nests

But the passage is not
Easy as I have thought
And the courage I hope
To find also in the frost

Does the winter come to love us
With its brilliant silver nights
Or it will bring iced water
On our instinct to survive?

And my hope it is for tonight
To touch the upcoming light
To discover if I’m enough
To start alone this new life

Another way ‘round the pain?

“Is this part, is this part, of the process, of the process? Can I find another way ‘round, other way round, round the pain?”.

Le parti in inglese sono tratte da “Scars” di Natalie Imbruglia

Oíche an tsolais *

In un anno il vento
ha cambiato direzione
e si è fatto caldo
per asciugare lacrime
di terra affogate.

La notte che dicono sia
dell’anno la più lunga
porta scintille di luce
e acque sconfinate
coperte di stelle nuove .

Non ci sono coincidenze
di sorrisi ignare
soltanto la semplicità
grata figlia del sole
e dell’antico tormento.

Joy is fear, fear is joy

December 2011 it’s not cold
Outside and I'm changing my life
The Christmas is not far what I’m going to ask
That I’ve not yet had in my past

A cup of coffee I’ve got in my hands
That are become the ones of a man

I watch the smoke caressing the old wall
Is this the change? Is this the place?
And I’ve to esc from my sacred nest
The joy is fear, the fear is joy

Is there a flame I can put in a locker
Before the embers die in the rain
I sell the past in honor of the future
The joy is fear, the fear is joy

The quarter past four alone in this room
I see clouds from the Tuscan sky
They’re teaching as always the change is the only
Rule of the whole universe

So take some courage from this cold sunset
There is a world you’ve not discovered yet

I watch the smoke caressing the old wall
Is this the change? Is this the place?
And I’ve to esc from my sacred nest
The joy is fear, the fear is joy

Is there a flame I can put in a locker
Before the embers die in the rain?
I sell the past in honor of the future
The joy is fear, the fear is joy

I play chess against the life, it’s a game
I used to be loser everyday

La lenta eutanasia della vita:
accendo respiri rosso porpora
sulle punte tremanti della dita.

Foglie d’edera scoloriscono
al passaggio dei fari delle auto.

La luce sorge tra le zolle di terra
e circoncide il mio cuore stanco.

Dietro la casa un falò di foglie:
luna di marea saluta l’autunno.
