Thar naoi dtonn *

Ci sono mattine piccole
cenere di fuoco spento
in cui le luci scheletriche del neon
sanno fagocitare l’alba
e i passi stretti sotto la pioggia
ingoiano sorrisi stentati.

Ma resta anche un altrove
oltre la nona marea **
dove la luna urla ancora vita
e il veleno del passato
si dilegua nel ventre fluido
dell’inconsapevolezza nuova.

Laila *

Nelle notti lunghe
di insonnia masticata
i minuti sono gusci rotti
tra la nebbia affilata
in attesa di piangere
di nuovo la luce.

* "Notte" in lingua ebraica.

Yes it is ok

Yes it is ok
I lose myself in Brussels
Among all this mazes
I’m just a pair of trousers
It’s difficult to hide
To myself that I’m
Nothingness

She said she is going
To be in love with him
I think I‘ve avoid
For a long time
those things
It’s cold but not so much
My face is no more young
This night

And I can find her
In Delphi in the wood
Olives trees and future
To live

And then I see her
In the terrace of glass
Near the sea of La Manche
To love

And what about me?
My story seems to be
Desires with no reaching
Anything

I’ve always felt proud
To be allowed to hope
But it is not right
To waste this way my time
I collect many plots
And every one seems all
I’ve not

And I can find her
In Delphi in the wood
Olives trees and future
To live

And then I see her
In the terrace of glass
Near the sea of La Manche
To love

And what about me?
My story seems to be
Desires with no reaching
Anything

Leolàm *

L’ombre azzurre della prima alba
vapori dal ventre delle colline:
nella testa pensieri sbriciolati
tra le mani il martirio dei giorni.

Io vorrei essere soltanto terra
umile madre d’ogni meraviglia
e osservare il cielo cambiare
nella forma e nella lucentezza.

E invece raccolgo i minuti
della inutile incarnazione
sacrificio sull’odioso altare
del quotidiano affanno umano.

* In ebraico “Per sempre, per la durata del mondo”.

Elias’ screams

My lazy mind is bleeding in the well
And drop by drop I forget of myself
Devil out of my door
Telling things I ignore

And in the night I hear Elias’ screams
May be into my room or in my dreams
Speaking of the drought *
And the floods so long

No new opinions
Into my mind
I sell the fire
Into my eyes

No more the truths
And nor the lies
Make me allowed
To keep on the fight

And I feel hungry of life and of time
Even if I waste them when I’m tired
And I see no angel
Touching me to wake me**

But I am not a prophet nor a man
Who can be proud to be his own self
So why am I waiting
For a god to help me?

No new opinions
Into my mind
I sell the fire
Into my eyes

No more the truths
And nor the lies
Make me allowed
To keep on the fight

Teshubhah *

Raccolgo foglie e noci
sotto la penombra obliqua
del cielo omicida
dell’estate.

Mentre il buio del passato
tenta ancora d’oscurare
la baia translucida
del futuro.

* In ebraico “Pentimento”
