Razor on my bones

Suddenly, everything it is changed
Utterly, I am victim of fate
Someday I’ll be able to rise again

Anyway, am I looking the same?
My face, after all this big rave?
I say I don’t know if I am still me

Sweet Home sweet Home
You’re a razor on my bones
Sweet Home sweet Home
You are no more my Sweet Home

There is there is
No more my cat on the sofa
It seems it seems
My soul it is gone to an hotel

I think, it is passed by the time
To feel, as I used to feel tied
To this bunch of habits I called life

I’ll be, a new shadow of me
I mean, new prospective and dreams
Not here I will find what I’m looking for

Sweet Home sweet Home
You’re a razor on my bones
Sweet Home sweet Home
You are no more my Sweet Home

There is there is
No more my cat on the sofa
It seems it seems
My soul it is gone to an hotel

Suddenly, gravity isn’t strong
Suddenly, I’m ready to be lost

Your last days

Your last days were ice
Over the sun
And me I could die
Without crying
I know there’s a ceiling
For every flying

Your last days were eyes
On the window
Every hour a fight
For both of us
Sometimes I was dreaming
For a different light

I count my tears and crawl
And there is not a hope
And all my past is on
A broken dark mirror
Days are like nights, nothing will be all right, after this crime
The law of time, it’s not at all kind, towards your life

Your last days were fires
On the water
They have to be alive
For a moment
But not in my heart
Where you’ll be eternal

Your last days were what I
Didn’t want to
Be in front of my eyes
Without could
Make something to
Change this bad rule

I count my tears and crawl
And there is not a hope
And all my past is on
A broken dark mirror
Days are like nights, nothing will be all right, after this crime
The law of time, it’s not at all kind, towards your life

And everyone she knew thought she was beautiful

“And everyone she knew thought she was beautiful”. Tu che per me c’eri sempre. A corrermi incontro quando rientravo in casa. A dormirmi accanto nelle notti ghiacciate. "She lay in bed all night watching the colours change. She lay in bed all night watching the morning change into green and gold”. "The doctor told her years ago that she was ill”. “The world was at her feet and she was looking down”.

Sei stata splendida

Quando l’alba ancora languiva
Ti ho trovato, silenziosa e immobile
Accanto a te, la morte seduta
Mi osservava ostile

Le mie lacrime hanno bagnato
Il tuo corpo provato dal morbo
Gli occhi stretti, la bocca socchiusa
Istantanee incancellabili

Dopo tutto si è fermato
Per un istante anche il mio cuore
Quasi vent’anni concentrati
Nel tuo ultimo respiro

Corroso da questo senso
D’abbandono e d’impotenza
Incapace di annientare solo
Il mio dolore affilato

Ma tu sei stata splendida
Fino alla fine del tuo viaggio
Lasciandomi soltanto nell'ora
Della solitudine finale

Le mie parole sono povere
Solo zingare infreddolite
Di fronte alla ricchezza immensa
Che mi hai lasciato dentro

No proper prayer

There’s not a proper prayer
For you my darling
There’s not a proper saying
It’s not enough
‘cause you entered in my heart
as no one else has done, till now

There’s not a proper pain
To feel today
In front of your sad death
Under this rain
I’m nothing but my tears
Without you all my fears, can grow

There’s not a proper joy
To think of you
Twenty years of toys
Always with you
So many gifts you gave
I haven’t deserved them, thank you

THANK YOU!

There’s not a proper heart
To contain all
The pain the death the life
Today I’ve got
Because we were a world
And now I’m left alone, alone

There’s not a proper place
To rot your bones
But it will be the same
Will rot my bones
Together on that hill
Near the Church and the Sacred Stones

There’s not a proper song
To write for you
No word can be enough strong
For what I feel
And songs are like the life
They’ve got to stop sometime.. somewhere

(Dedicated to my little black cat dead on 6th November 2008)

4 novembre

Su questa terra
Strappata alle origini
Macchiata di sangue imbavagliato
Ho camminato senza pensare a un Dio

Ma poi ancora
Negl’occhi screziati del tempo
Ho scoperto una nuova preghiera
Senza sacerdote né sacri vocaboli

Forse non sarà
Che l’ennesima illusione
Eppure da un oceano all’altro
Percepisco la speranza del cambiamento

The Samhain Card

Don’t know where I’m going don’t know where I’m going
It’s an ancient story it’s an ancient story

I keep the memory of all that I have been in the past
Some things I have to hold but others are to throw away

I know to feel lonely I know to stay lonely
It’s enough to love it, it’s enough to love it

I exploit all the skills the nearest to feel to my dream
But in this night there is something to suggest me I’m free

And so I’m here again with my WHOLE heart
And so I play again the Samhain card

I’m not so fragile for a night for a night
I can’t arrive but I start in this time

I read all my story from this peak of always
Here I’ve passed the glories and I found the Holy

But here there were also the greatest cries of all my world
This night is made to host the fears and all the odds I’ve got

And so I’m here again with my WHOLE heart
And so I play again the Samhain card

I’m not so fragile for a night for a night
I can’t arrive but I start in this time
