Brucia l'artemisia
sul mio ventre ghiacciato:
il fumo accoglie
il cambiamento
come la nebbia
nasconde il cielo
sopra all'attonito
camposanto.

Southernmost sunset
Very close to fireplace through the window I look outside
the southernmost sunset brings some wisdom and a new light
from today there's a flame that increases in my veins
and there is a new hope that gives warmth to my bones
I feel like my old disgrace from today can become love
in my hands I hold my shame and I put it in the cold
from today I am new, don't know why but it's true
and there are many things I have to do in these months
New wishing starts with the mistletoe
new prayers come from the little hopes
and my wood is so generous
and I feel so grateful
New wishing starts with the mistletoe
social year is going to fall
and my wood is so generous
and I feel so grateful
In this house I am allowed to call my ancestors
in these days the shadows are shorter than the days before
darkness is the prelude of the new light just born
spirits please protect my world make it pure and full of warmth
New wishing starts with the mistletoe

and my wood is so generous
and I feel so grateful

In attesa
L'alba è un fuoco tiepido
acceso sul ghiaccio sterile
i rami spogli del frassino
sono tasti di pianoforte
il pettirosso affamato
cerca briciole di speranza:
quanto ancora le gemme
resteranno in attesa?

Perielio

Only the prayers build
Under this sky of gold
I was told, to pray
Near this house of stone my father called, my name
and he said remember, you will always belong, to this place
and I said I surrender, to the life that is stronger, than me
While the river flows down deep into the valley
I'm trying to grow losing some pieces of me
and trying to understand, I come back again, to this place
and now with the Land, I strike a deal as, I am a new man
How many kilometres I have to run
before having some peace
may be I found my place inside my heart
to stop forever my grief
Let me put my roots deep in this soil
waiting for the new spring
and all my ancient thoughts I put in a coil
so they can become clear
The wood has always taught that there is not an end
seasons repeat their fall and their growth again
so what have I to wait? And why have I to stay? Only the prayers build
Time is appearance, like the young dreamers, that cry out of the shield
How many kilometres I have to run
before having some peace
may be I found my place inside my heart
to stop forever my grief
Let me put my roots deep in this soil
waiting for the new spring
and all my ancient thoughts I put in a coil

Great december
Finally I'm arrived
to taste the twilight
with my skin
with my eyes
On this ridge I want
to understand my soul
here alone
looking for God
Great December with the sun among the clouds
I surrender to my faith on the ground
Who have I been?
Who will I be?
I've escaped from all
even from my hope
now I know
it is my turn
Great December with the sun among the clouds
I surrender to my faith on the ground
Who have I been?
Who will I be?
to taste the twilight
with my skin
with my eyes
On this ridge I want
to understand my soul
here alone
looking for God
Great December with the sun among the clouds
I surrender to my faith on the ground
Who have I been?
Who will I be?
I've escaped from all

Great December with the sun among the clouds

Who have I been?
Who will I be?

Dalla caduta delle Geminidi*
Giorni come capelli strappati
