The moon is dead, there’s a big balloon instead

I’ve never thought to be like that 

I’ve never thought to become that man 

but it’s now clear I can’t be mad 

I am far from myself 

The life has been gentle and bad 

and I have learned and forgotten 

too many things I had to accept 

until I’ve been beheaded 

And from the US they said 

the moon is dead 

there’s a big balloon instead 

what can we see? 

The sky is only a screen 

the sky is no more 

a prayer 

What’s going on can show clearly 

that we are part of the history 

‘cause while I feel that I am changed 

the whole world mutates 

The appearances we see inside 

the moment after are in the sky 

and so the war that I’ve to fight 

in my soul is also outside
